In the past 20 years there are have been approximately NSF funded researchers 7 in Texas with the first name Sarah. None of these people are doing any research of the type you mentioned. Research related to the medical and health sciences is overseen by the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. I would think that this agency would be more able to assist you than the NSF.
