Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ.I have just returned from an amazing three week trip to the United States.Drena accompanied me on this trip and our first stop was at Bethany Collegein Minneapolis where former OMer-Dave Hicks is now the President. Not onlydid I speak at Bethany's Annual Missionsfest, but I also spoke at nearbyBethel College's chapel, and then was able to preach at Bethany FellowshipChurch, a dynamic church in St. Paul, then again on Sunday evening atBethlehem Baptist Church (where John Piper is the pastor). We then flewout to Idaho to spend a week with our son Ben, his wife Caroline, and ourthree grandchildren. Our time in Idaho included taking the grandkidsswimming, celebrating Ben's upcoming birthday at a local Indian restaurant,and attending only my second high school football game in 40 years (mygranddaughter's boyfriend was playing). I spoke three times at CalvaryChapel Boise. We then returned to the place where Drena and I firstmet-Moody Bible Institute for the Moody Annual Missions Conference. Myschedule while in Chicago was full of speaking, radio interviews,promotional videos, lunches, and key meetings. Beginning with a powerfulmessage of complete devotion and belief given by Gary Witherall (whose wifeBonnie was killed in Lebanon, November 2002), we really saw a moving of theSpirit among the students of Moody. I would appreciate your prayers as Ileave for Poland this weekend.You need much discipline and wisdom. Please try to get council from alocal Godly leader.Let's keep on keeping on together!

Note: I remember when Verwer visited GFABS, but I did not understand why he knelt his left knee on the ground to have a look at students doing "cleaning duty" in the campus at gfabs; later that evening he received an access library card from Dr. KP.
